Fulness Ministries International

Fulness Ministries International (FMI) was birthed from a God-given vision to develop relationships with, and to teach and encourage local churches throughout the world. During the late 80's Dr. Jimmy Brookins, who had been a pastor for thirty years, felt the time had come to initiate the vision.

FMI became a 501(c)(3) missions organization in 1991 and has followed God's leading to minister on five continents and in fifteen countries.

FMI's mission statement encompasses five areas:

  1. To follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit in ministering with indigenous works in other countries. FMI normally does not seek or initiate opportunities, but rather waits for the leading of the Holy Spirit in responding to invitations from national and local church leaders.
  2. To train, equip, and encourage national leaders, local pastors, and lay people in developing callings and giftings in ministry. Then to encourage these leaders, in turn, to train, equip, encourage, and release others.
  3. Return periodically to continue training and evaluate progress, through the use of Bible schools and conferences along with individual mentoring. FMI is not the owner or manager of any work. The goal is to assist nationals so that they are not dependent on any organization as they develop their own resources and personnel.
  4. To network with pastors, church leaders, and Christian businessmen both in the U.S. and overseas, exposing them to missions opportunities.
  5. To support national-based ministries in projects such as medical missions, evangelical outreach, feeding and clothing projects, orphanages, schools, counseling, etc.
